SEARCH WITHOUT THE GARBAGE!

While we're on the subject of research, check out this useful search engine. Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. Here you can search across many sources including articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions. This program covers academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites. Google Scholar helps you find relevant work across the world of scholarly research - without getting bogged down in materials that are not applicable.

Google Scholar indexes the full text of academic writings and includes most peer-reviewed online journals of Europe and America's largest scholarly publishers, plus scholarly books and other non-peer reviewed journals.
This resource also provides an extensive legal database of US cases. You can find published opinions of US state appellate and supreme court cases since 1950, US federal district, appellate, tax and bankruptcy courts since 1923 and US Supreme Court cases since 1791.

This will save a lot of people a lot of time by weeding out the drivel.
