News: A holiday tradition continues with the Gingerbread Lane giveaway at the New York Hall of Science

People can keep the holiday spirit alive all year long with a piece of the record-breaking Gingerbread Lane.

Chef Jon Lovitch will hand out candy-coated houses from his massive display at the New York Hall of Science in Queens on Sunday.
Each family will be allowed up to two houses, which will be given on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 1 p.m.
Lovitch used about 600 pounds of gingerbread, 750 pounds of candy and 3,700 pounds of icing to craft about 1,125 houses, trollies, a police station and skating rink .
