Bring A Dead Link Back To Life.

Here's a way to overcome a frequent irritation when browsing the web - the broken link error page. You know how frustrating it can be to try to find what you were looking for when the site you are on glowingly recommends another web page and you know what you're looking for is right around the corner. Then you hit the dead link impasse. With this neat trick you can usually go from a discontinued link to a working backup of the page you wish to view - often with one click.

In many cases, this neat service gives you access to a backup of a URL that powers through to an archive of the missing page. This service works with any link and even if a file can no longer be downloaded from a site, an archived version may still be out there...

It's easy! Just insert the link that doesn't work, and hit Enter -- Shazam! -- you will be looking at the original page.
